The Rainbow of Life
The freedom of embracing life in its entirety.
Dear Reader, beloved Friend on The Path,
In this weeks Soul-Letter I want to invite you to explore a misinnerstanding that has quietly shaped much of humanity's journey: the belief that life must be divided into opposites.
Many people see themselves as either spiritual or material. Either devoted to the sacred or immersed in the worldly. Either pursuing enlightenment or navigating ordinary life.
Yet what if this division itself is the source of suffering?
Life does not separate itself into categories.
The tree does not choose between roots and branches. The river does not choose between depth and movement. The rainbow does not choose one color over another.
And neither are you asked to choose.
Life is an ocean of energy.
This energy is forming life.
The experience of this energy is what many traditions have pointed toward as enlightenment, not an achievement, not a destination, not a special state reserved for a select few. It is the direct recognition that the same force moving the stars is moving your breath, your thoughts, your laughter, your tears, and every unfolding moment of your existence.
The challenge begins when the mind starts dividing reality into preferences:
"I like this."
"I don't like that."
"This is spiritual."
"That is worldly."
"This is sacred."
"That is ordinary."
Slowly, we begin selecting only a few colors from the infinite palette of life.
Yet realization means you're not choosing one color out of the rainbow.
All colors are yours.
"The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences."
When life is welcomed in all its expressions, something extraordinary begins to happen.
You no longer feel at war with experience.
You stop waiting for life to become different before allowing yourself to be at peace.
You stop postponing joy.
And strangely enough, life seems to respond.
Not because some external force suddenly rewards you.
Rather because resistance dissolves.
The energy that was once spent fighting reality becomes available for living.
This is where many people misinnerstand prosperity.
When prosperity is mentioned, the mind often imagines possessions, status, houses, cars, achievements, or accumulation.
Yet true abundance is far more fundamental.
Abundance of energy is prosperity.
A person may possess little and radiate immense vitality.
Another may possess much and feel inwardly impoverished.
The real wealth of a human being is measured by their aliveness.
How much wonder remains?
How much gratitude remains?
How much openness remains?
How available are you to this moment?
These questions reveal a deeper prosperity than any number can ever measure.
"When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you."
Many also speak about blockages.
They seek methods to remove them.
They search for techniques to overcome them.
They wait for the day when everything will finally open.
Yet perhaps the blockage is not what we think.
Often, the blockage is not life itself.
The blockage is how we are seeing life.
If we constantly affirm:
"I am separate."
"I am broken."
"I am not there yet."
"One day I will arrive."
Life faithfully reflects those assumptions.
As an ancient teaching expresses:
"Howsoever you perceive me, I'll appear to you like that."
If you see yourself as incomplete, life confirms incompleteness.
If you see yourself as disconnected, life mirrors disconnection.
If you acknowledge:
"I am the whole Kosmos. There is no separation between me and life."
Then life begins reflecting that truth as well.
Not because reality has changed.
Because perception has.
And from this shift arises a profound freedom.
You stop treating life as a problem to solve.
You begin participating in it as a mystery to experience.
A Simple Practice
The next time you find yourself resisting an experience, pause for a moment and ask:
"What color of life am I refusing right now?"
Fear?
Uncertainty?
Grief?
Excitement?
Stillness?
Change?
Instead of pushing it away, allow it to be present.
Not as an enemy.
As part of the rainbow.
Notice how much energy returns when resistance softens.
Notice how life begins flowing again.
The deeper invitation of this path is remarkably simple:
Life is not asking you to become something else.
Life is asking you to participate fully.
To welcome the whole spectrum.
To stop standing outside existence judging it.
To enter the dance.
Because ultimately:
The point is that life is a joyful, abundant play of energy.
And play has no point.
Play is just overflow of energy which is happening.
May you remember that you were never separate from the dance.
May you remember that all colors belong to you.
May you remember that abundance begins the moment you fully say "yes" to life.
Closing Prayer
Great Mystery,
May we soften our resistance to what is.
May we recognize the One-Mind expressing through every experience.
May we welcome life in all its colors and all its seasons.
May we release the illusion of separation and remember our place within the living whole.
May our hearts remain open, our steps light, and our lives become a celebration of the energy that moves through all things.
Aho!

P.S. The moment you stop arguing with life, you may discover that life has been embracing you all along.
