The sacred Creativity hidden in daily Life
Sweep the floor like you’re painting the Kosmos
Esteemed Reader on the Path, dear Friend,
In this weeks more extensive Soul-Letter I want to invite you into a very different way of looking at creativity, work, purpose, and daily life itself.
Many people believe creativity belongs only to artists, musicians, writers, or those who produce something extraordinary. Yet true creativity has very little to do with becoming "special."
Real creativity is life moving through you.
It is in the way you walk.
The way you speak to another human being.
The way you prepare a meal.
The way you listen.
The way you sweep the floor.
One of the deepest misconceptions of modern life is the idea that some moments matter more than others. We divide life into "important" and "unimportant," "sacred" and "ordinary," "creative" and "mundane."
And through this division, we lose contact with the living movement of the One-Mind expressing itself through all things.
A truly awake human being begins to innerstand something profound:
Everything is creative, special movement.
Not only painting.
Not only music.
Not only poetry.
Even talking, even walking is a creative phenomena cosmically. Life is constantly forming new forms through you.
And this changes everything.
Because the moment creativity becomes tied to achievement, recognition, validation, or emotional excitement… suffering quietly enters.
Many people wait for "the mood."
They wait for inspiration.
They wait to feel elevated, motivated, energized.
And when those feelings disappear, their movement stops.
Yet existence itself does not stop.
The sun still rises.
The trees still grow.
The ocean still moves.
Life continues its silent integrity.
This is why consistency is such a sacred force.
Not the consistency of discipline born from pressure… rather the consistency of alignment.
A state where your movement is no longer dependent on emotional weather.
One day you feel expanded.
Another day contracted.
One day inspired.
Another day heavy.
Yet something deeper remains unmoved.
And from there, action continues naturally.
"Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished."
This is what it means to become One-Mind.
Not perfection.
Not emotional numbness.
Not suppressing human experience.
Rather:
whatsoever happens, negative or positive, you do not constantly jump upward and downward with every passing wave.
You remain present.
You remain available to life.
You continue your movement.
And slowly, integrity is born.
Today many people are exhausted not because they work too much… rather because they are internally fragmented.
One part wants recognition. Another wants safety.
Another seeks approval. Another fears failure.
So action becomes divided. And division consumes enormous energy.
The One-Mind moves differently.
It does not constantly negotiate with itself. It simply expresses.
This is why some human beings radiate such peace even while doing simple things. You can feel presence in the way they wash dishes, garden, speak, create, or sit silently.
Because they are not trying to become somebody through action.
Action itself has become meditation.
There is a profound freedom in no longer creating for identity.
The ego says:
"What will I gain from this?"
"Will people approve?"
"Will this succeed?"
"Will this sell?"
The heart simply creates.
Not because it needs to become something… rather because creativity is already what it is.
And perhaps this is one of the deepest realizations on the path:
You are not a creator. You are creativity itself.
Feel the difference.
The "creator" carries pressure.
The "creator" seeks ownership.
The "creator" fears failure.
Creativity itself simply flows.
Like wind. Like rivers. Like clouds forming and dissolving in the sky.
"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action."
This also transforms how we relate to success and failure.
A true artist of life does not become inflated when praised… nor collapsed when unseen.
Because the movement was never about the result.
The movement itself was already complete.
Modern society teaches humans to constantly calculate value:
"What can this give me?"
"How can this benefit me?"
"How can this improve my image?"
And through this constant calculation, spontaneity disappears.
Life becomes mechanical.
Yet existence itself is wildly creative. Look at nature.
No tree compares itself.
No sunset seeks applause.
No flower refuses to bloom because somebody may not notice it.
It simply expresses the intelligence of life naturally.
And perhaps humanity suffers because it has forgotten this simplicity.
We have become obsessed with becoming… and disconnected from being.
The solution is not to stop creating.
It is to stop creating from psychological pressure.
To return to simple movement.
To sweep the floor like you are making a painting… and to make a painting like you're brooming the floor.
Meaning: there is no separation between ordinary life and sacred life.
All of it is sacred when presence is there.
So how do we begin returning to this state?
Very gently.
Start by bringing total presence into one small daily action.
Drink tea completely. Walk consciously.
Fold clothes slowly. Listen fully when another speaks.
Not as a technique. Not to become spiritual.
Rather to re-member the sacredness already hidden inside ordinary life.
And when emotions fluctuate - as they naturally will - do not build your entire life around temporary internal weather.
Keep moving lovingly.
Not forcefully. Not mechanically. Lovingly.
This creates a deep inner stability that the world cannot easily shake.
Over time you begin to innerstand:
There is no creation here.
There is a constant creativity moving on and on and on.
And you are not separate from it.
You are one expression of the infinite movement of the One-Mind itself.
May you stop waiting for the perfect mood to live your life.
May you stop postponing your expression.
May you discover the sacred hidden in the simplest movements.
And may your entire life become a silent work of art in service to the Great Mystery.
And here is my invitation for a prayer:
May the One-Mind guide our hands without force, our hearts without fear, and our lives without division.
May we remember that every breath, every word, every movement, is already part of the sacred dance of existence.
May we create not from lack, but from wholeness. Not for recognition, but from love itself.
And may our daily life become an offering to the Great Spirit, through the simple beauty of presence.
With quiet presence in the movement of the One-Mind,
Bear Saorin
The One Mind Sanctum
P.S. You do not need to wait for inspiration to begin living creatively. Life itself is already creating through you in this very moment.
