Staying centered in times of chaos
A reminder that fear grows through attention, while Love grows through presence.
Cherished reader & beloved companion on the Way,
Given the growing conflicts and chaos unfolding around the globe, I would like to share the remedy I have found – one that takes fuel away from fear and restores the inner peace we long to see reflected in the world.
With all the turmoil unfolding around the planet today – wars, "viruses", and constant uncertainty – it is especially important in these times that we approach life from the space of love rather than fear.
When we meet the world through fear, we unconsciously add fuel to the fires of conflict, division, and suffering. When we meet it through love, it is as though we help extinguish those very flames.
It is essential that we remain centered, that we do not fall into fearmongering or become consumed by the chaos constantly presented around us.
Do not feed your energy into it.
Stay rooted in your center.
"The opposite of love is not hate, it is fear."
We live in a time where many people are awakening to the constant trap of division, to the narrative of endlessly judging and comparing one another, fighting our sisters and brothers… not only through wars, but even more so through the conflicts woven into daily life.
The moment we bring peace to our immediate surroundings, the world itself instantly begins to reflect that peace. Because peace is not something to be achieved someday, somewhere, nor something to be fought for.
Peace is a state to be lived, embodied, and expressed in the way we meet one another each day.
And this is one of the greatest challenges, especially for those among us who are awakened: how not to fall into fear when you can already sense and perceive possible unfoldings.
Those who remain asleep either do not realize it at all, or believe there is always someone who will organize, guide, and save them, someone they can trust – whether government, religion, or another external authority. The awakened, however, sees that this is not the case, and sometimes quite the opposite.
"Where love rules, there is no will to power; and where power predominates, there love is lacking. So choose love over fear and life over illusion."
And this raises an important question:
How do we do that?
How do we remain grounded in love when fear begins to pull us downward into its spiral?
The simplest way is to return to the present moment.
I want to offer you a very small and gentle exercise:
Whenever you notice yourself drifting away from love and sinking into fear, pause for a moment and remember this practice.
Simply look. Observe.
I have shared this many times in my podcasts: sit quietly and gaze into nature. Go to a garden and look at everything in detail, every curve of a leaf, an insect moving, a speck of dust, the stem of a flower, a spider's web. Look at everything in detail, and then close your eyes.
Now look at your thoughts… just as you were looking at the leaves, the petals, and the insects. You are transferring that same awareness and love to your mind.
That is what heals the mind, not analysis.
When a thought is truly seen in all its forms, life-energy begins to dance. That thought is like creation itself, longing for the light of awareness to rest upon it.
Once awareness falls upon it, that energy begins to change forms, expand, and reveal its hidden beauty.
May we remember, especially in times of uncertainty, that fear is not our natural state. Fear belongs to imagined futures, and the more fear is fed, the more sorrow, separation, and conflict are brought into creation
Love lives only here and now.
"There is a battle of two Wolves inside each of us. One is representing Fear. The other one representing Love. The Wolf that wins is the one you feed."
Native American Proverb
The more deeply we return to presence, the more clearly we begin to see that peace is not something the world must first give to us, it is something we are called to embody within it.
And this is how the world truly changes: one human being at a time, returning from fear into awareness, from division into remembrance, from the restless mind into the quiet presence of the One-Mind expressing as all life.
With a quiet heart, in service to the peace already within you.

P.S. Do not fear. Have faith that, as a child of Mother Earth, you are always cared for, guided, and protected.
